Female Only Coach Clinic Set for Oct. 17

Minnesota Hockey and USA Hockey are partnering to host a female only coach clinic on Sunday, October 17 at the Marriott Minneapolis West in St. Louis Park, MN. The clinic, which will offer Level 1 and Level 2 CEP classes, will be led by female instructors and is intended to celebrate and promote female coaches in addition to providing the tools and resources they need to succeed.

As the first in-person Level 1 and Level 2 CEP clinics in Minnesota since 2019, the training sessions will feature USA Hockey’s revamped curriculum. Leading the sessions will be Minnesota Female Coach Development Coordinator Amber Fryklund and USA Hockey Female ADM Managers Kristen Wright and Heather Mannix.

The Level 1 class is set to start at 10:00 am, with registration opening at 9:30 am. The Level 2 class will open registration at 10:00 am and begin at 10:30 am. Both classes will conclude by 5:30 pm. Coaches must be present till the end of the clinic to receive CEP credit.
